Remember to return your ballot

General Election ballots have been sent and voters how have until Nov. 4 to return them to a local ballot box or drop them off at the post office.

Once you receive your ballot, find time to fill it out completely according to the directions described inside and either mail it or return it to a local drop-off site at one of these area locations:

Lewis County

- Historic Courthouse (351 NW North St., Chehalis) between 8 a.m and 5 p.m.

- Twin Cities Senior Center (2545 N National Ave., Chehalis) 24 hours per day, or until 8 p.m. on Nov. 4.

Cowlitz County

- Castle Rock Library (137 Cowlitz St. W., Castle Rock) 24 hours per day, or until 8 p.m. on Nov. 4.

If you have yet to receive your ballot, be sure to contact your local Auditor's Office to inform them of any recent change in address. If you ballot has not been delivered by Oct. 25, you may ask for a replacement ballot. The Lewis County Auditor's Office is available at (360) 740-1278 while the Cowlitz County Auditor's Office is available at (360) 577-3005. If you have yet to register to vote, you may still do so in person between now and Oct. 27.
