on Saturday night as throngs of people took their seats and awaited the results of the 2013 Pacific County Fair Competition.
Three beautiful young ladies, Tessa Wilson, Jessica Cook, and Maria Mosely spent their Summer vacation selling fair buttons, attending parades, and visiting various local organizations all in hopes of achieving the title of fair queen.
Dressed to the nines, each girl arrived with their escorts and took their place on stage. Local radio personality, Jonny Manson got the pleasure of introducing each girl and announcing the results. 2012 winner, Emily Burbank gave her finally speech as queen and with tears in her eyes, thanked the entire community for the ongoing support of the fair court program.
“These ladies have done such an amazing job. I would be lucky to crown anyone of these girls,” said Burbank tearfully.
Finally, it was announced that Miss Jessica Cook had won the speech and also won the crown as Pacific County’s 2013 Fair Queen. Her runner up was Tessa Wilson and Princess Maria Mosely.
“This all feels surreal. I just want to thank everyone in the community for supporting us. None of this would be possible without our community,” gushed Queen Cook upon receiving her crown.
