PC Senior Center Hosting Silent Auction

The senior center serves meals five days a week at 324 Jackson St., in Raymond. Senior Nutrition asks for a $4 donation from those 60 and over. Those that are under 60 are welcome to eat for $8. Senior Nutrition operates in the red due to limited funding each year.

On Monday, Wednesday and Friday we deliver hot nutritious meals to those that are homebound and within the city limits of Raymond and South Bend. We have a generous lady that volunteers her time and vehicle to bring meals to those that can't prepare or get food for themselves. This lady may be the only person these people see for days. Many of these folks can't afford the meals brought to their door.

The center is more than a place to eat a meal. Seniors tell us all the time how thankful they are for a reason to get dressed, get out of the house, and visit with friends. We have a beautiful warm facility here and it is a blessing to many in our community.

Will you help us with a donation to fund this wonderful program? I need all donations for silent auction by November 13, 2014. If you would like to donate money, please make checks out to CCAP. We are a non-profit organization. I can give a receipt for taxes if needed.

Thank you for your consideration and donation.

Sincerely,

Desir'ee Wildhaber, Office Manager

and Monica Riley, Head Cook
