South Bend was eager to please the crowd and showed them just what they were capable of during the cheer competition that concluded the Pacific County Fair.

Brea Tracy, 9, of Boistford, took Grand Champion in the Junior H-4 Division. Tracy in her first year at this level had a bit of a hard time with her entry but was able to also show her in the Cutest Critter Contest.

Matthew Flemetis and his Grand Champion Sheep Lizzy. At age 15, Flemetis was showing in his first official Pacific Country Fair for FFA. Flemetis and Lizzy took two Championship ribbons one in Fitting and one in Showing.
Saturday was a very wet day at the Pacific County Fair. Along with the wind the scheduled entertainment was cancelled and the cheer demonstration was moved for the first time indoors. But despite the bad weather the fair was a success this year.
