Graduation season is upon us and local high schools are preparing to see off this year’s seniors. Below are schedules of graduation proceedings for Toledo High School and Winlock High School, and Town Crier wishes all area graduates the best of luck with their future endeavors in Lewis County and beyond.
Toledo High School
June 2 – Baccalaureate at 7 a.m. at Toledo First Baptist (Graduates, please wear your graduation gowns - no caps).
June 5 – Mock graduation practice at 6 p.m. in the high school gymnasium.
June 8 – Graduation at 2 p.m. in the high school gymnasium. Seniors please report to the library by 1 p.m. with your cap and gown.
Winlock High School
June 5 – Baccalaureate at 6 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Senior Scholarship & Award Night to follow at 7 p.m. in the Winlock Winlock Middle School gym.
June 8 – Graduation at 2 p.m. in the Winlock Middle School Gym
Just a reminder: graduation, as with many formal ceremonies, is for the family. Seniors are reminded to be on their best behavior so that their families can be proud of them at this event. Cap and gown decorations are not allowed. Seniors need to be wearing footwear, as well as appropriate dress (shirt, pants, and/or dress/skirt). Also, remember that Seniors are not to have noisemakers, silly string, confetti, etc.
