The light agenda quickly dispensed the approval of the current agenda, consent agenda and minutes of the March 24 meeting.
The second reading of city Ordinance 1478, amending chapter 16.55, Manufactured Housing and Trailer Parks, was approved with no discussion.
Public comment was highlighted with a big thank you from South Bend resident Jenny Penoyar who expressed her gratitude to the city crew for clean up around the library and fixing the wheelchair lift.
The only department reports came from clerk/treasurer Dee Roberts who advised of the Oso fundraising hot dog sale bringing in $2,320 for the displaced residents of the Oso mudslide. Roberts further advised that if people wished to continue with donations they could stop by the city and make that donation.
The meeting adjourned with no additional reports or comments.
The next scheduled South Bend City Council meeting is scheduled for April 28 at 5:30 pm.
