Our 35th president had more money then he would ever need so he did not take his salary!

I honor him for many things that he said with great insight and fidelity such as “A nation reveals itself not only by the people it produces, but by the people it honors”. His book, Profiles in Courage, is the best book I have ever read. When he said, “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.” After all these years, I still believe he meant these words and deeds-bone deep!

JFK also gave a large portion of his salary that he did not take, to the Boy Scouts of America.

President Kennedy, posthumously, I thank you for the anchor I receive from you by your words and actions, these that I mentioned have been a star that I stayed my mind on.

One only needs to re-read Hans Christian Andersen’s, The Emperor's New Clothes (1837), to see what has happened to the Democratic Party today!

South Bend Wash.
