The Raymond Timberland Library is offering Drama-rama on Wednesdays starting Jan. 17 at 3:30 p.m. Learn how to be on stage and let your inner star shine brightly. Come to one workshop or join us weekly for improv games and acting challenges.

Rock Painting - Make It @ The Library: On Thursday, Jan. 18 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. the Raymond Timberland Library offers new rock painting techniques such as aborigianl dot art or staphorster stipwerk or any other creation. All meterials provided. Open to teens and adults.

The 11th Annual Elma Winter Wine Festival takes place Saturday, Jan. 20 running from noon to 9:00 p.m. at the Grays Harbor Fair & Event Center in Elma. Must be 21+.

Sunday Afternoon Live presents On The Rocks Jan. 21 at 2:00 p.m. at the Raymond Theatre.

On Monday, Jan. 22 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., the South Bend Kiwanis Club and the South Bend High School Key Club will be hosting 'Cupcake Wars' at the South Bend School elementary cafeteria. Admission will be $2 at the door and includes free cupcake samples, a cakewalk, door prizes and raffle baskets. Four elite local bakers will be vying for cupcake honors and fabulous prizes. Valley View Health Center invites you to join them for refreshments and tours of their remodeled space. This event is Wednesday, Jan. 24 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Willapa Hills Back Country Horsemen meeting takes place on the second Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at The Pit, 5880 Wilson Creek Rd., Raymond.

Alliance for a Better Community meetings are the second Wednesday of each month at noon, at Sheila's Kountry Kitchen restaurant. The public is always welcome.

The North Pacific County Food Bank is open every Thursday 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The food bank is closed on holidays. Serving all of North Pacific County. For emergencies call (360) 942-4726.

VFW Pacific Post 968 is holding regular monthly meetings every second Wednesday. Meetings begin at 7 p.m. and are held at 221 Duryea Street in Raymond.

The Willapa Harbor Quilters meet at the First Baptist Church of Raymond each Tuesday at 11:30 a.m., with exceptions in August and December. Visitors are always welcome. The Dr. O.R. Nevitt Memorial Pool Board meets on the fourth Thursday of each month at 5 p.m. in the meeting room of Raymond City Hall. Meetings are open to the public.
