Suspected drug distributor Lake Gregson has been scheduled to stand trial on May 20 after pleading not guilty to six felony charges Thursday.
Gregson, 23, of Toledo, was arrested Feb. 16 on three counts of delivery of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, possession of methamphetamine and possession of explosives without a license after being investigated by the South Lewis County Task Force during January and February.
Attorney Donald Blair said he would not be commenting on his client’s anticipated defense outside of court but did state he has yet to discuss any plea agreements with the state. Prosecutor Shane O’Rourke said a plea agreement may likely be sought given the severity and number of charges against Gregson and may be presented in court during an omnibus hearing, for which Gregson is scheduled on April 11.David Gregson, Lake Gregson’s father, also pleaded not guilty to a charge of possession of methamphetamine, for which he was also arrested Feb. 16, though law enforcement have not indicated he was directly involved in Lake Gregson’s suspected drug dealings. His trial is also scheduled for May 20.
