Four injured in I-5 rollover collision
The 41-year-old female driver of a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban was traveling northbound on I-5 near Milepost 64, east of Winlock, when she swerved from into left lane to avoid striking another vehicle. The Suburban then hit the rumble strip in the median and lost control on the gravel. It then spun back into the right lane and onto the grass shoulder where it rolled onto its top, injuring the driver and three passengers.
Transported with unspecified injuries to Providence Centralia Hospital were the driver, a 16-year-old female passenger, a 16-year-old male passenger and a 15-year-old male passenger, all from Chehalis. The cause of the wreck is still under investigation and charges were listed as pending.

Vader man booked for lying, warrant
Victor J. Hobbs, 23, was contacted by police after he was found loitering near SE Prospect Ave. Hobbs gave a false name at that time and was allowed to leave but, when it was learned he had given misinformation, he was contacted while riding his bicycle on N. National Ave. and arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for obstruction and an outstanding warrant.
Vader vacation home burgled
The 44-year-old male victim, of California, reportedly returned to his property on the 200 block of Sixth St. after being away for around a week and found the house ransacked. Missing were 30 bottles of expensive wine, a .22 rifle and a box of knives, as well as items stolen from the refrigerator.
