Veterans Resource Fair this Saturday

The Lewis County Veterans Advisory Board will be hosting a Veterans Resource Fair this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Museum. Experts will be on hand to help answer questions about jobs, housing and benefits, while local veterans groups will be available as well.

For more information, call Bill Evans at (360) 742-4759. The Veterans Memorial Museum is located at 100 SW Veterans Way, in Chehalis.

Entries open for Veterans Day Parade

Parade entries are being accepted for the Lewis County Veterans Day Parade, scheduled for Nov. 8 at noon in Toledo. This annual event represents the contributions on military veterans from all around the area, and all members of the public are invited to attend and participate.

Winlock ready for Kids Night Out

The Winlock Lions Club will be hosting a Kids Night Out on Saturday, Nov. 15, at the Winlock Community Building.

Featuring Bingo and free snacks, admission will be one can of food for one Bingo card, or two cans of food for two Bingo cards, with donations being contributed to the Winlock-Vader Food Bank. The event begins at 6 p.m. and parents/chaperones are invited to stay. For more information, call Jeanie Emmenegger at (360) 785-4817.
